Ausdata AI MCP Project Pre-release Privacy Policy

Effective 19 September 2026. This Policy applies to this documentation site and any preview access made available through mcp.ausvector.ai.

01 / Scope

Clear about what applies.

This Privacy Policy explains how Ausdata Science Pty Ltd, trading as Ausdata AI, may handle personal information in connection with this pre-release project. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, where applicable.

02 / Information

Only what helps run the service.

When a client connects to the endpoint, we may process the JSON-RPC request data and client-controlled content submitted to operate the service. Do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and you have a lawful basis to do so.

We and service providers supporting the endpoint may process technical and operational information, such as IP address, access time, request method, device or client information, error events, and security signals. This helps us operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

03 / Use and disclosure

For operation, safety, and support.

We may use information to provide and maintain the endpoint, prevent abuse, investigate faults or security incidents, respond to enquiries, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell or rent personal information.

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the endpoint under appropriate confidentiality obligations, with your consent, or where required or authorised by law. Your MCP client or connected third-party services process information under their own privacy policies.

04 / Retention and security

Kept only as long as needed.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

05 / Your rights

Questions and privacy requests.

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, or ask questions about how it is handled. Contact [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date or by a notice on this site.
