Clear about what applies.

Ausdata Science Pty Ltd, trading as Ausvector, handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, where applicable. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services linked from Ausvector.

02 / Information

Only what helps run the service.

For an access request, we collect your name, email address, company, optional mobile number, preferred integration, intended use, and information included in your message. For service use, we may process API or MCP requests, client-controlled content, authentication details, and outputs needed to provide the service.

We may also collect IP address, access time, request method, device or client information, error events, and security signals. Please do not submit sensitive information unless it is necessary and you have a lawful basis to do so.

03 / Use and disclosure

For operation, safety, and support.

We use information to respond to access requests, provide and maintain services, authenticate users, prevent abuse, investigate faults or security incidents, communicate service changes, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell or rent personal information and use it for direct marketing only where permitted by law.

We may disclose information to hosting, email, security, analytics, and other service providers that support the business, and where required or authorised by law. Those providers may process information outside Australia. Your MCP client and connected third-party services operate under their own privacy policies.

04 / Retention and security

Kept only as long as needed.

We retain access-request and correspondence records only as long as reasonably necessary to assess requests, provide support, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Service and security logs may be retained for operational and security purposes for a reasonable period. We securely delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Questions and privacy requests.

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law. Contact [email protected]. We will handle complaints within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date or by a notice on this site.
